And a poem should be understood and interpreted by the reader. While the poet can have a targeted meaning, it is the reader who has to solve the poem using his own equations. And in that lies the beauty of imagination.

Love can have a range of meaning. Of compassion, romance, empathy, kindness, heart, loss, pain, blood, kiss… The eternal meaning of love is understood differently by each unique person. And poetry helps it achieve that quality.

This is one of the reasons that I, personally, love poetry. Anything that has a heart, soul and Life, I include them in my poems. And they speak for themselves.
